What should you wear?
We recommend summer dresses for the women and dress shirts and dress pants for the men. Ties and jackets are appropriate but not necessary. Both the ceremony and reception are indoors with A/C, but there will be outdoor activities and if it's not too warm, we have the option of opening the doors for an open-air reception.
When should we arrive?
Music will start at 4:00P with the ceremony starting at 4:30P. Because photos will be taken before the wedding, we ask that guests not arrive any earlier than 3:45P.
Are the ceremony and reception both wheelchair accessible?
Yes, both buildings are wheelchair accessible and there are cement sidewalks connecting all the areas. There are also 3-4 parking spaces on the side of the building reserved for wheelchair access.
Is there handicap parking?
There are a handful of spots right at the building (3-4 spots). It is also easy to drop off and then proceed to parking. Both the reception and ceremony buildings are connected by sidewalks.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, due to limited space, we have a strict guest list and will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
The ceremony will take place in the Chapel, which sits off to the side. The reception will be in the larger building. Look for the welcome signs and open doors.
Are guests allowed to take photos during the ceremony?
To give our photographer freedom to capture every moment they can, we ask that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We want to make sure we can see your faces, not your phones :)
What should we do upon arrival?
Parking is at the east entrance. The walk to the festivities is short, but it is down a stoney path. If you have guests that prefer to be dropped off, you can drive down that stone drive and drop them at the sidewalk. There are a few handicap parking spaces, but we ask that you use those only if all passengers can not walk the stone path.
Next, if you've been traveling, you may want to first stop into the restrooms, which are located inside the large reception hall. There are no restrooms in the chapel. Once you are ready to be seated, make your way to the Chapel.
What happens after the ceremony?
Immediately after the ceremony, everyone will proceed to an announced location to take a group photo! After that, there will be about an hour where guests can enjoy some outdoor activities and refreshing beverages. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM.
Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?
The menu includes fettucini alfredo with grilled chicken, chicken parmesan, caesar salad, and home-made focaccia. We're hoping there is something for everyone, but if you need special accommodations, please feel free to bring in your own food or reach out to us for any special requests.
Should we bring our gift to the wedding?
If you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address or brought to the wedding.
Where will the couple be honeymooning?
The new Mr & Mrs Proper will be honeymooning in Japan! Joshua has family that lives in Japan so they are taking advantage of their long summer off and starting their marriage with an international adventure!
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Yes! Under the 'travel' tab on our site, you should find that information.
What is the typical June weather for Wooster OH?

I still have questions, who should I contact?
Please send any additional questions to either Emma or Joshua.
